Veterans Education Benefits

Yellow Ribbon Program

Degrees for Working Adults

LeTourneau University is partnering with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to welcome our returning troops back home and to our campus. We’re proud to honor all military members by participating in the federal Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program.

Yellow Ribbon benefits are available for any veteran who honorably served on active duty for at least three years since Sept. 11, 2001. Veterans can begin receiving their tuition benefits for Fall 2009 classes, so there is no need to wait to register.

How it works

The new G.I. Bill will provide eligible veterans’ tuition up to 100 percent of the cost at the most-expensive public university in a veteran’s state. Veterans looking to attend a private institution, such as LeTourneau, also qualify for the Yellow Ribbon Program, which bridges any cost gaps between a public and private college education. Since Texas public tuition rates are some of the nation’s highest, our veterans will find exceptional cost benefits at all LETU locations in the Lone Star State.

Why LeTourneau University?

No matter where you are on your education path, LeTourneau University gives you the chance to earn your degree from a school with a Christian perspective that emphasizes integrity, ethics and world citizenship.

We offer a wide range of degrees, from business to engineering. LeTourneau University is even proud to offer an Air Traffic Control (ATC) program at our main campus in Longview, Texas—the only FAA-approved ATC program at any Texas college or evangelical Christian university in the nation.

If you will be working while going to school, you’ll want to take a look at LeTourneau’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies, with programs designed specifically for working adults and professionals.
